    geestar, he blew the motherboard but maybe not the cpu tho don't count on it when you consider the amount of damage to the motherboard

    i think he has done to much damage to repair besdes the shipping cost would not be worth it

    baabaa I will continue to call you a dumbass, only if you manage to do it again. Everyone has those bad days.

    Seriously, I would have killed my friend who had me on that wild goose chase that led to unnecessary tragedy. But I guess this could be a good time to upgrade, huh?

    I have to apologise for my recent thread.
    My mates never take me seriously as I always wind them up, and one of them challenged me over the weekend to see how many people I could lead up the garden path.
    And it appeared to work well......LOL
    I thought it would make a slightly different topic for a couple of days and provide a little entertainment aswell.
    As the weekend has ended, I thought I would come clean.

    Now you may think that I am trying to exonerate myself, but I can assure you I am not.
    I am an electronics engineer, and such basic errors would have been avoided..........................

    The truth is I did not know how I was going to do, I just posted 'call me a dumbass bit' without anything specific in mind, and when I discovered lots of people were doing it, I had to think up a plausible story.....................
    jim_dandy, gave me the clue, about setting up...........LOL

    I don't know whether people will trust me from now on, but I just wanted to post something a little different...............

    Does anyone else want their reputation to be damaged, as I know of another story that'll work well...........LMAO............

    Sorry if this caused any offense to anyone....................Not.........LOL

    Will anyone every trust what I say again.........

    I now think everyone will be calling me a bastard rather than a dumbass................LOL

    I was tied up most of the weekend and didn't have the computer on much. I started reading this thinking someone was bad mouthing Baabaa. I'm at work right now while writing this post. I just had 2 of my workers come into my office wondering why I was laughing my a$$ off so I let them read the main part of the story. I feel bad for you baabaa but you sure made our day here at my store. We actually hear similar stories but not as good as this one. I live on coffee so this will come to mind with every sipp I take. Once again, sorry to hear of the problems but glad you posted it.

    thanks, jerk! Naw, I'mn just kidding, you're alright...Are you sure you weren't that guy that tried hacking someone to erase their hard drive and wiped out his own? He was just looking for attention, and now he got it. He's the laughing stock of the computer world.

    Be careful with that coffeemaker computer, make sure it comes with DVD±RW cupholders, and use styrofoam cups so when you accidentally bump the drive bay it closes and crushes the cup, coffee everywhere, then we have another funny story to read.
