I personally much prefer Corsair RAM, never had any issues with it. I've heard mixed reviews about Patriot.

I used Patriot Performance RAM for a while. In my experience, it's stable, takes overclocks well, and has good timings. Some mixed reviews, but Patriot is good RAM.

Is there any program or website where I can put in the specs for these RAMS and see if they are compatible with my system? Cause I'm really not sure if it's compatible with my system.

The simplest way is for you to tell us which motherboard you use, and we can tell you what will be compatible.

Can you give us the make & model of the motherboard, just to be sure?

cpu-z should be able to identify your motherboard. run it, and go to the mainboard tab.

    That's a socket AM2 motherboard supporting DDR2 RAM up to PC6400 speed.
The RAM you've chosen will work.

    One last question.

With the four RAM slots, to ge tthe dual channel to work, do they have to be right next to eachother, or spaced out by one?

usually, they are to be next to eachother. so it would be 1-2 and 3-4. if you still have the manual, check that.

Check the manual, however, as in many cases I've found dual to channel to work in alternating slots (1&3 or 2&4)

well...usually they are color coded...same color are dual...or read the manual like sammorris, just to be on the safe side...or you can be like me...try every combination...

Lol suppose at least with RAM you can't do any harm... unless you try to put DDR2 in a DDR3 slot of course!
