Phantom Taskbar

    I recently upgraded my OS to Windows7. I´m resonably satisfied with relearning how to use some of this program But: Why is my taskbar appearing and disappearing so randomly? I´ve tried most of Windows remedies for controlling this problem, with no luck. Will some help with further advice?

    Thank you..But as I said I tried their "over-the-counter" tips and tricks and they don´t seem to help. Either I´m missing something, there´s something subtle going on here, or my computer is haunted.

    so you unchecked auto hide taskbar and checked lock the taskbar?
