Hmm.. you have maybe blocked/is been blocked by firewall some loader that streams games... check that.

i tired to load a nes. game it gets past the loading bit but then just a black screen, and i can access a mini menu. i dont realy get thi?

Norton is my firewall, but i click on allow and it runs, but then stops either on loading or on a black screen.

Well it can be caused by a certain type of ethernet card you are using for your PC to stream with.I noticed that when you stream some ethernet cards are capable with it and some are faulty when streaming.Another thing you can try out is using the GCSIM loader with the PC Server. That is the best combination I can give you for Phoenix, and sorry for the late reply. The best combination for connecting your Cube to your PC is using crossover cable and a direct connection to the PC.If you check the .nfo file in the GCSimulator loader it will tell you the best ethernet card to use for streaming with GCSIM.Hope this helps you out, been busy messing with a PS2 game.GCSIM allows you to stream at 10/100 Full instead of the 10 limitation. The best advice I can give you is try to see if you can get Phoenix 2.5 running again,so you can use the GCSimulator loader. It is the best loader out and you will get better results.

    Peace L-Burna

I just download GCSIM, followed all the directions except installing a second NIC. When I stream a full sized GCM with GCDiscServer I get better results at 10 mbps rather than the 10/100. No matter what (full sized GCM, compressed/garbage removed GCM, manually setting to 100 mbps half duplex) I get a crappier game speed. I mean unplayable, like trying to play HALO 2 online with dialup. My drivers and router firmware are updated. I wouldn't even ask for advice except for one fact, 100 MBPS IS WORKING WORSE THAN 10 MBPS. Any suggestions?

Bad newbie **slaps self on hand** I did a few more searches and found what I was looking for.
