here just bought a 50 inch plasma panasonic, i,ve got it connected to my sky plus box via a scart cable is this the best way to watch tv and get the best quailty picture or do i buy a hd cable to sky box to plasma tv to get a better picture and i will up graded to hd sky as soon as i have spare cash,,cheers,
hi,you can only get out what you put in. ive got a 42" lcd and its pretty grainy especially for football for some reason. i recently bought a sky+ hd box(but not with hd subscrition) and have tried the bbc hd trial channel and it a lot better but you do need to use an hdmi cable. i also have an upscaling dvd player also using a hdmi cable and that also works very well. but none look as good as the demo,s you see in currys etc. but for the moment i would say save your money and dont upgrade your sky,there just isnt enough channels yet.go for an upscaling dvd much better value. good luck,neil
