Pinacle Studio 9 (Problems during video capture)

    Hi,

    I got some problems during video cupture. I am not satisfied with video quality. When I cupture video as MPG format I get two problems. The first one is that the movie hacks and the second one is audio delay. I have a new computer with 3.2 GHZ P4 and 1 G Work Memory.

    Plesa, kan enyone helps me?

    Did you try capturing uncompressed? With that system I'm assuming you have a fairly large hard drive.

    How do you mean, uncompresed?
    I have a lot of space on my hard disk.

    You said you capture in mpg format. When you do that not only does your computer have to capture the video but it also has to transcode it which is very cpu intensive. Now from the sounds of it your system should have no problem handling anything like that but I would still try capturing in DV mode. It basically just capture it the way it is on the tape. You will get much better quality that way. I've used Pinnacle before and I know there is an option to do that so just mess around with it a little bit.
