pioneer 105+nero 6.3

    hi

    slight problem here

    got pioneer 105 using nero 6.3, burning to cdr fine, dvdr not fine

    keeps comming up doing mp3 to dvdr invalid block address, burning dvd's cant copy this dvd

    some one said i need to upgrade my operating system to a newer version. using windows 98 se at the momment, is this right or not if so what os should i go for, me,2000,xp

    can i put xp on straight over windows 98se with out haveing to reformat, also which xp should i use

    windows xp professional (msdn)
    windowsxp professional (oem)

    any help would be greatful

    A newer operating system is always a great idea, but not always needed.

    Can you provide a copy of the Nero log file from the failed write attempt? Edit out the serial key before posting.

    Without this, you do not give us very much to work with. But with the log, we will hopefully be able to more properly assist you.

    I had the same problem some time ago.
    But when I installed the latest Nero updates and removed Pinnacle Instant Copy the problem was cured.
    It must have been one of the two causing the problem but I don't know which one.
