I downloaded the 1.07 upgrade for my 106d but I'm really not sure how to use it properly and I don't want to just guess how to do it, I'm sure you could figure out why. Could somebody point me to a guide on how to upgrade. If I'm not having problems, would you even recomend the upgrade?

Download the hacked version that is region free and supports ripping up to 12x here:

    http://www.chrismccann.co.uk/pioneer_firmware_upgrades.htm

To flash it just unzip the archive, close all programs, empty your drive from any disks you may have in and run the Upgrade file which is easy to use.

Make sure to uninstall Intel Application Accelerator if you use it. You may install it again after the upgrade.
