I'm having poblems that the drive is reading / writing at approx 2 speed rather the 4.

I've tried changing thre speeds in Nero to 4x and maximum but still not running at full speed.

    Any Ideas ???

    Thanks

not overly happy with nero 6 you could always change the program to say clone or replicant and see if you get a better result

Ive got the same problem, but the weird thing is for the first 10 or so discs burnt at 4x but now it seems it will burn at 4x as the time left says 14min but then it jumps up to 40min when it gets to 2%, using "record now max veritas 4.5"

Using Ritek Go4's same discs when it was burning at 4x

I seem to have solved the problem.

I was using Windows ME and have upgraded to XP Pro and works like a dream.

    Thanks
