Pioneer 5100H

    Although the machine I have is great I still have 1 problem. When timer recording using Video+ and the machines own tuner the recording quality is very poor. This does not happen when I manualy record ie not on timer. Anyone else had similar problems and got a solution?

    You need to provide more specifics & based on the information, I'm not so sure that this thread is posted in the proper area. Are you trying to do a video capture to your PC or are you asking about one of those new DV-R things?

    Here in U.K Ken we have Video+ that does recording from a programme by entering a code no. , for example :
    4539912 [That might be Eastenders on BBC1 @ 7:30pm]

    Entering the code allows the machine to auto enter which channel , time etc etc...

    OK, here in Canada we call that VCR+.

    Del54, what happens when you set the timer manually? Does the quality drop then as well?
