Hi, I need your help! I do seriously. I have heard how great the Pioneer -R/RW drive is but is it really all that? Coz i'm wondering whether its worth me getting that drive or the Panasonic combo drive.

Please help me sort my mind up...and i do know that DVD-RAM is useless but...well 100,000 times useability compared to the -RW.

Well i'll shut up for now and eagerly await a response.

Please be kind when writing back...i am a newbie. By this i mean no mocking lol

I own a Pioneer A04. Its a great burner. I've burned over 150 movies without any problems. I missed the new firmware upgrade and started having problems, untils it finally died. Only had 4 coasters, not bad at all.

I love the Pioneer and would buy it again, but there's a new player in town that burns everything but toast. Try looking a the Sony DRU500A. It burns DVD-R/DVD-RW DVD+R/DVD+RW. This will be my next drive

    Good Luck shopping...
