   I bought the Pioneer DVD-RW discounted because it didn't have the software with it...big problem though... I can't format the DVD-RW disks! Can anyone please help me find a program that will format the disks? All attempts at this have failed and I cannot get a copy of the program that came with the unit (Veritas Primo DVD)

   Nero will format your Pioneer DVD-RW, but I would say most other recent burners would too. If you visit the web sites of the burner producers, they should list their hardware compatibility. You can make your choice depending on the features you are looking for.
