Pioneer DVR-105 burning issue

I just got this burner recently and tried burning a data-dvd using a (Pioneer Brand) DVD-RW and it would quit part way (shortly after 10% completion), giving me this message:

    E80041898: Write error - [03/0C/00]
    E80041899: Write error - buffer underrun occurred - [06/C5/00]
    E80041925: TrackWriter error - Command retry failed - [T7118]

It can't be a buffer underrun problem, since I tried it many times by rebooting and closing all uneccessary programs before burning again.

I am using Windows XP Home, on a Pentium IV 3.0 w/ HT (Canterwood), with 1024MB of DDR 400 Ram. I got this burning error with Nero Ver. 5.9.9.14 and also, Roxio Easy CD creator 5 Basic.

    Any help would be great!

Try updating your nero to 5.5.10.42

Try uninstalling all the burning programs and then re-install Nero. It is known to have a habit to conflict with other burning programs, and it works perfectly when it is your only burning program. It is because other programs may have installed their own drivers, thus causing a conflict.
