Pioneer vsx-1020 internet radio

    I just received my Pioneer yesterday and I am having trouble setting up the internet radio for it. I know how to set it up and everything but it always comes up with a connection error when streaming. I have read on some other places online about needing a .asx or .pls in the url in order to stream it but the ones I have don't have that and I can't find it anywhere. Anyone know how to get/find/convert urls to have the extension?
