I just made a movie clipping using a DV camera. file saved on my hard disk is MPEG file. Now how can i convert this file to a suitable format which can be viewed on home VCD player (not DVD) after i burn it on CD. Pl suggest freewares only.

If you go to VCD/SVCD forum there's a 'sticky' thread about VCDGear (freeware). Don't ask such thing in a CD-R forum. You'll lose lot of time.
And VCDEasy... it's my favorite but it's NOT freeware.
