hey there I burn my dvd using nero but when I play it back usually 1/2 hr before the end of the movie it freezes and breaks up (excuse the newbie please) what would cause this.
could be the media, could be the software. What kind of blank media are you using? I personally have never liked Nero but that's ust my opinion. What compression rate are you using, what speed are you burning at?
I use memorex, i usually burn with dvd santa but sometimes when I try to use santa it goofs up and it doesnt freeze it shuts down then gives me a contact microsoft, Im not sure if this is a PC problem or what.
Don't burn at speed higher than X8, get better discs-Memorex CMC MAG. are infamous for playback and burning issues( get Verbatim, Tayio Yuden, Sony), don't multi-task when burning.
