    hi
i tried to copy some DVDs but i am having problems playing it in my dvd player. when i try it on my computer and laptop it works perfectly but in the dvd player it is all choppy and skipping parts and freezes every 10 seconds. i have tried to copy a few dvds but none work. i use roxio to do my dvd stuff and i burn at 8x and i use dvd decrypter to rip. my dvd player plays other movies and previous copies just fine. i have been using this method for over 3 years and it always worked before so please tell me what could have gone wrong.
    any help is appreciated
    thank you very much

According to the Nero Forum at Afterdawn, if you burn at 4x using Verbatim then you have a good shot at a successful burn.
The symptoms you describe are indicative of poor media burned at too high a speed.
Unless the DVD's you buy are Verbatim or have 'Made in Japan' on the package, it's a coin toss.
