    Hey guys

My Yamada player has just died after 5 years of faithful service, so am in the market for a new player, but must be cheap....around £40

I have a hd tv to connect it to so would like one with hdmi port, also i want to play xvid/divx/mpeg4 etc

been looking round and seen some that seem to fit the bill but get mixed reviews.

    your advice is appreciated

    Get a DVD upconverter.
Toshiba xde has dropped down in price a bit.
You can find other good models from Pioneer, Sony, Panasonic, and Samsung.

That player looks very nice and useful. I always have tons of .mkv files that I have to convert to DVD to play. I wouldn't mind picking one of these up on Boxing Day myself.
