Have loaded Power dvd 5 from cyberlinke, but dont think this is the problem. when i put any disney dvd into my computer dvd player all you can hear is the dvd player trying to scan and play the disney dvd but locks up the computer. The dvd player on the p.c. will play any other dvd including copies.

it sounds like something was installed on your computer from one of those movie disks that blocks the playing of those movies..

try anydvd as it will remove css and more..then see if they can be played..

Hi, have loaded the free trial Any DVD from the site, this at first played a disney dvd 102 dalmatians, but then put in another ( Cars ) this did not work eventhough the dvd player came up the error on this was, disk with an unsupported format in the drive, so i looked in the drive it self and it shows no disk present even though there clearly is a dvd in there.
    regards chunky one
P.S. cheers for the link to the any dvd site looks really good
