I backed up some of my games with clone using my windows 2000 pc using asus 5224a burner, but these backups will not work on my new xp system .Sim city4 has bad scratch so am desperate to get it working using backup i made .Games install fine and go to opening screen then just stops. Is it something to do with ntfs and fat32 file types?. cheers dc

Use Alcohol 120% as an alternative to backup Safedisc (Sim City 4). CloneCD is a "hit& miss" when it comes to backing up Safedisc due to "pre-gap". Use the Safedisc 2 datatype to read and write (Litey).

Be sure you have the latest DirectX installed [bold] and [/bold] your video drivers are updated.
