does anybody has a list of pal games who has a built-in pal/ntsc selector in it?..like the ones in bold..because i know that there is a little more than that Dany23
Could anyone tell me how I could Patch Knight Rider(PAL) to NTSC, I have a no solder mod chip and swap magic 2.0. I tried using burn at once to make the iso file, and then using ADR patcher to convert PAL to NTSC, I get the blue load screen, but then nothing happnes, black screen, any help would be appriciated, thanks. PS I know the game sucks, but I grew up with Knight Rider, I'm such a dork, lol
nrk4594, in your pal game list u said that stolen pal version need to be patched with the adr patcher..well..i have the game with me now..pal, full dvd version and not patched..and this game has also an internal 50hz/60hz selector in the option screen..from the main menu (i know that the screen flickers for ntsc users and its hard to see what is selected, this is why i write down the direction to go to the option menu) go down 2 times with the D-pad (Main menu: New Game (selected by default), Load Game, Options and Concept Art)) Press X at the Options, there select Video (Options: Controls, Sound, Video)..in Video, select the last option, Refresh Rate (Video: Screen Setup, Refresh Rate) and finally select either 50hz or 60hz depending on your region/tv that u use. After, save the changes to the memory card so u dont need to do it again. Someone PM'd me the details about that game. I haven't had a chance to test out any PAL games in a while. I'll update the list in a bit. As far as games with PAL/NTSC selectors, try this site. I don't know how accurate it is, but it does have older games on it, that my list doesn't. hxxp://db.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/file/playstation2_60hz.txt
hey people need help i downloaded GTA SAN ANDREAS ps2 NTSC version which is in 2.62gb in size. i dont know wat to do with it. how can i play it. i tryed to extract the iso in it but it shows some error. any ideas??
hi im new, i have some questions. i can´t seem to make a backup on my pc of brothers in arms with Dvd Decrypter, it gets me an error.¿is there another program that can do an iso file? it has the adrpatcher because the image its off center, but the game has no option to center the screen ¿is there any way to remove the patch to make the game iso clean, to at least be patched with PAL2NTSC (because of the screen)? Gretings
I was the one who PM'd you about Stolen. When I see a game giving me a rolling screen I go ahead and patch it. After I patched Stolen I then saw it had a 50/60 selector. I now know to check before I patch. Sorry for the missed info.
nrk4594, yep..i know about that site..it gives some of the pal games that have this internal selector feature...but some games like Athens 2004..here, its mentionned that it has this selector and on the other site it doesnt have ..so now can somebody confirm this?..also..there are some other games that r unconfirmed about this (like worms blast pal, re gun survivor 2 pal etc..can somebody tell my from that list..wich games have this feature also..i know most sega, capcom, and sony games have this..midway and konami games have this either Dany22
That's why I said I don't know how accurate it is. I have the PAL (UK) version of Athens 2004 and it does have a PAL/NTSC selector. 99% of the games listed in my thread were personally patched/confirmed by me. The other thread uses different sources, so that could contribute to wrong information. Also, one of his email address listed indicates that he's from Australia. I know that there was a release of Athens 2004 for the Australian market (which uses the PAL signal). It's possible that the Australian version doesn't have a selector, while the UK version does. All of the games listed in my thread are those games that are released in the UK. Some games released in the UK are the same game released in other PAL countries, while other games have a few different versions for PAL countries.
anyway..i have the ntsc version of athens 2004 so i dont really care..i can also confirm that Detonator pal has this selector also (and maybe other games from the same company wich is Midas Interactive) so u can also add this to your list whenever u have time.. ohh..can u confirm also..as i see u r from the uk..and also if u have it..Resident Evil Gun Survivor 2 Code Veronica has this selector also? i realised that most capcom games have it Dany23 PS: Virtua Tennis 2 PAL CD, ICO PAL DVD and Puyo Pop Fever PAL DVD..these games have this feature as well
Thanks, I'll update the list later tonight (finally). By the way, I'm from the United States. It's just that the imports I get are from the UK.
I'm new to this, so I'm not sure if my procedures are correct or whether my game is unpatchable. Here's the setup NTSC PS2 with HDAdvance Trying to play a PAL game called Chelsea Club Football DVDDecrypter seems to work perfectly. It creates the ISO and I can load it on the HDD without any issues. If I try and play it I get the scrolling lines and black and white picture (which I expect is because it's still PAL) but it seems to load OK If I patch it using either of the two patchers in the first post of this thread, it all looks OK, but the game gets stuck after about 2 seconds (on the codemasters splash screen) and the audio loops like a broken CD repeating the same second of audio repeatedly. Does this mean the game is not patchable or is there some special setting I need to enable when patching?
ok i have a problem withs Stolen release by STRIKER i did the pal to ntsc patch everything works fine untill i start a new game. when the new game started the whole screen goes black.. i can still hear the sound from the ingame sound tracks but the screen is black.. all the contorls work i can whisle, walk, jump, etc.. but the screen is just black..please i want to know if anyone else have this problem and i need help thanks

I'm new, so can some one tell me or at least refer me to a way to undo a patch? I have patched a game I didn't need to and I would like to restore the original iso.
