I patched Star Wars Ep 3 correctly and it works on my ps2. However, the bottum portion of the screen is pushed down and there's no way to adjust it (the game lacks the option). How can I fix that?
[bold]Lahori420[/bold] - i ran into the same problem, but i got it to work sad part is theres no Y-Fix on it...so the screen is shifted to the bottom heres how anyway..., just open the already patched iso in PAL2NTSC and checkmark "make pn selector" at bottom then patch file and then transfer to hdd/burn w.e, load it up on ps2 and press circle at the green selection screen for NTSC (not the one with Y-fix beside it) now the only erfin thing is to move the screen up! i gave up on the damn game cuz i cant bat for shit and ball either! there ar guages/meter at bottom you cant see damnit! PS: anyone help with the repositioning of screen?
What offset did u use for the PAL2NTSC patcher on Cricket 2005? I have tried 48, 40 and 32 with no luck. I never tried the P/N selector method, I will give it a shot. Also, for some reason it won't let me work with a pre-patched image. You think it might work better with a DVDRip of the game? Thanks
I patched need for speed underground 2, from pal to ntsc, but i needed to use adr, and there is no y offset. how can i get the y axis set correctly?
I got Juiced pal game working with color and everything but it doesn't have the positioning option. I used ADR patcher and tried the other one but it doesn't show up. So is there a way i can make it positioned correctly with the adr? Adr is the only patcher thats works so far for me that i downloaded from this topic. Thanks BTW my AIM is "ANDY IS BOMB"
not too be rude or anything but why dont u all just pay a 5er and get an rgb cable :| i got one and i can now play american and uk games :| in full colour no problems
So i tried the codeseeker with my gameshark v4 and typed in all of the master codes along with the pal2ntsc code and it turned out black and white.
hi, i´m the new fool guy. I bought Need for Speed Underground 2 from overseas and have the same problem as tra4. In my case it is an original PS2 pal game but when i put it in the console (ntsc) it sais "please insert a PS or PS2 disk". Are there any kind of hardware converters i can buy to avoid all the complicated file transformations? PLEASE HELP. Sorry, english is not my first language.
yes you can, but there is only one patcher that works, out of the few that are available, and on this program there is no y-axis adjustments, so about 6 inches of the bottom screen gets cut off. pal versions have more lines of horizontal resolution you use a program called adr patcher i believe, look at post #1 for the guide.
Dum question. What does it means to patch. Do i have to buy a dvd recorder for my pc? On the game it says that it is "protected" so no copys to hdd can be made. Do i understand correct?
dunm question alright, every noobs ask them, dont worry To burn any cd or dvd you need a dvd burner installed on your computer, internal or external. Patching means to modify something , in this case we are modifing PAL games to NTSC so it could be playable on the american ps2 and tv's
BERORE NAYBODY GOES OFF TOPIC< CAN ANYONE ANSWER THIS i patched brothers in arm w/ PAL TO NTTSC PATCHER AS opposed to the ADR PATCHER, even though that is what is suggested, but wat it point. the ADR PATCHER has no y-axis positioning. SO should i just use ADR patcher as c the results or is it still going to be the same. AFter i patched w/ PAL to NTSC PAtcher i can play single player with no problem expect te y axis position. But when i try to go online i get black and white w/ jitter screen, even after i get online. WATS UP ANY EXPERTS I'M RUNNING OUT OF DISCS
nrk4594, First like to thanks for the information about the PS2 PAL to NTSC. I was able to patch "star wars 3 PAL" and played it on my PS2 (NTSC) But I tried to patch the "RATCHET AND CLANK 3" but the problem is the same before I patched it. TV screen rolled. ///edit I saw your list on the first post. So I am going to download NTSC version instead.
Sometimes I notice this link below: http://www.geocities.com/jayteemaster2003/ps2_pal2ntsc_yfix_source.zip is busy or timed out that is why I have also uploaded it here at this link: http://www.bogaa.org/details/204171.html Please choose the search term "ps2 pal2ntsc y fix source"
Hey, guys Does anyone knows why I can't swith X-MEN LEGENDS to NTSC? When I use ps2 pal2ntsc yfix, it says that that ain't a valid ps2 iso... Does it have any way to fix it?
