and...have just burned Splinter Cell Chaos Theory without patching it,bit wonky but tuned it in with the screen adjuster in game.
Ahhhh....but alas, Star Wars Battlefront remains just like the patched version after backing it up and burning straight to Disk.Prince of Persia was a one off perhaps....
Formula One 2005 PAL I used Pal2NTSC and it worked awesome. I used 40 y-offset thingy but it was still kind of too big, so I'd imagine 32 or maybe even lower would be good for it
I tried it...Any which way I did it, it would just constantly flicker. I managed to navagate to the options tab but it was disabled for the demo. Can anyone help with the flickering problem?? Has it happened with any other titles?? Could patching a game that is already NTSC make it do that?? Thanks
I have a DMS4 EZI Lite modchip. Why doesn't it automatically resolve this PAL issue? Isn't it supposed to? EDIT: OH! Forget it, I had to hold the Square button as it booted to get to the configuration menu .... eh. Works fine now! It was hard to find a manual for this thing ... though i technically still haven't found one.
Well I successfully burned Silent Hill 4 after patching it with Jayteemaster`s program, works well after using the in game screen positioner to line it up.Unfortunatly the Swap Magic disc is not faring too well,it looks like an Ice Skating rink ...
Hi has anybody able to patch time crisis 2 and 3 from pal to ntsc? i tried and only black screen show up thanks
I don't know if this has been covered before, but this has to with converting PAL to NTSC. LEt's say I have two iso versions of a ps2 game, the PAL and the Japanese NTSC. I want to make the PAL into NTSC because the text is english. The japanese version is the same game essentially, just different text and it is NTSC. Is there a file I could switch between the ISOs to make the PAL version work? Is there some sort of elf file to look for? e-mail me at pimpsmacker213@yahoo.com or respond here.. thanks
Can anybody make a clear distinction between Jayteemasters Pal to Ntsc fix and the ADR patcher (As in screen position). A previous post mentioned a 48 Y fix is as close as you can get but am wondering if anyone has had success with fine tuning the variables... @avjgt There are many PAL to NTSC patching programs mentioned in this thread, have a look and you will find several links or guides on how to do it.BTW,what game are you trying to convert? Try http://www.geocities.com/jayteemaster2003/ I tried this link and it is active.
Yepper,I burnt Sniper Elite the other day,I patched it with the NTSC to PAL fix and it has a bit of the bottom lopped off but nothing too serious.Unfortunately there is no screen positioner in game so will have to make do.
I have this game in PAL and I used the PAL to NTSC with Y-Fix but all that I got is a black screen with the background music. Anny suggest?
I burnt it at too high a speed at first and I got the same thing,a blank screen and background music.I reburned it at 4x without using the NTSC patch and it worked.I have swap magic 3.6 and use the special boot function that loads it up in NTSC automatically.
