Crap. I accidentally bought a PAL copy of a game, and I have an NTSC PS2, and I can't contact the seller. ... Crap.
Cayter.. I use Swap MAgic 3.6 which is a swap method as the name suggests,I installed a few widgets in the open cover sensors, insert a boot disk to load up and then put the original game in,it works great for imports, back ups and PAL games.So... until you get a Mod chip or Swap magic you won`t be able to play the PAL game on your NTSC PS2..
Hi there.. i'm trying to burn NHL 06 and NBA Live 06 (EA SPORTS) but i'm having trouble finding the rite patch for these EA games.. i have tried some methods but i unsuccessful so if someone can plz guide me on how to burn these games i would be really greatful..
@Spitzfire All the games I have patched from PAL to NTSC have been in colour, and play well except for some of the screen is missing which goes with the territory...Perhaps your Mod chip is not putting out the colour signal...?
Cookieboy, perhaps you misunderstood what I said, but you gave me an answer I was looking forward to anyway. What I was saying was that ivbe burned PAL games by mistake and they're in black and white, and before i try them again, I wanted to know if this made them into colour. Now I know it does. Thanks.
So I patched the iso, then put it all on to DVD. When I play, everything goes black after it shows PLAYSTATION2.
Is there some special fix for Kinetic PAL? I tried burning it twice (once normally, once w/the PAL-NTSC patch), and it still hangs on the opening screen with EyeToy and Kinetic on white background. Arrggh...I hope it's not special protection.
I got the same thing with The Sims for Ps2 Pal.Gets to the boot up screen and hangs on the Sims 2 logo, burnt it the same way you did H/Core,once without patching it and again with the Y-axis fix, same result though...
Maybe we need to use ZoneLoader DVDR or Cogswap in order to defeat the protection scheme? Pick that up at: http://www.swapmagicfix.com
Hi everyone I have a PAL ps2 with the Matrix Infinity 1.75 Chip. So I only play PAL games.. Can I run NTSC games without any problems.. and will it show in color? Or do I have to patch NTSC to PAL anyway? Please help me out.. Peace
I'm not getting the box that I can enter "PS2 PAL -> NTSC PATCH ROUTINE (NO Y POS)" after I open ADRenaline patcher. it first says "patch info not found" then you have to click ok and it only allows you to load the iso and has a search button, but doesn't do anything? I am unable so far to convert a pal game to NTSC and need to find a method which I thought this was it
I didn't finish reading every single page to this thread but I've gone through a large portion of it. I noticed in the beginning of the post that [BOLD]Gran Turismo 4: Prologue [/bold] could not be converted. I recently downloaded a working version of Gran Turismo 4 and the screen was off centered and everything was black and white. I assume that this is a PAL version because this is how PAL games reacts to my tvs. I was wondering if patching Gran Turismo 4 is possible or should I just not try and save a CD from becoming a coaster?
I have a PAL version of Gran Turismo 4.I patched it to NTSC and use it on my Japanese Slimline PS2,it plays ok and some of the screen is missing from the bottom but it is totally playable.I have read some people have had trouble with GT4 but it took me one try and it was successful.
I already figured it out. The Matrix Infinity 1.75 modchip automatically converts the signal from: pal---> ntsc ntsc---> pal I don't have to do a damn thing ! I highly recommend this chip for modding your ps2
