To expand on the last post, I need to patch a bunch of backups for a friend, but I can't find any pal to ntsc converters for Linux.

When I use the "NTSC" video mode on Swap Magic 3.6, the bottom is cut off and there is an empty black bar at the top of the screen. It's playable, but I would love to see it as it's meant to be seen.

    Thanks in advance.

@[bold]ccapitanu[/bold], if you read the thread starting from the beginning, you'll find someone posted how to do this. Very easy, take a look.

ok..see if I understand...i make an iso image using dvd decrypter...i patch the image using ardpatcher ntsc->pal patch routine...then burn the image to a blank dvd with dvd decrypter. Is that right ? Do I need to do the boot patch too in ardpatcher ? Thanks a lot.

My Atelier Iris : Eternal Mana was PAL
i follow your instructions and use the Ps2_pal2ntsc_yfix_source to patch it with the offset of 48, it didnt show the rolling screen, and it worked to the part it ask for about memory card in the beginning, afterwards it's just stayed a blank black screen, however i tried the ADR Patch, it works but the view is adjusted like a bit much below the center
is there a way to adjust it back up?

No one of the PAL Prince of persia series have a 50/60 HZ Selector, but all the NTSC versions are Multi5.

Does anyone know if the PAL version of Street Fighter Alpha Anthology has a NTSC/PAL selector? The NTSC version doesn't work with any version of HDloader so i'll have to convert it otherwise.

Flatout 2 PAL have 50/60 HZ Selector there's no need to patch nothing. If you patch a game with selector you mess all of it

the only way to get to the 50/60 HZ Selector is to patch the game and check the box make pn selector.

    Hi everyone! Whats up?
    I've got a little problem =P
I just got "Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3 Collector's Edition" which was only released in Europe, thus a PAL game, and I need it to be NTSC, otherwise I see everything b&w. Well, I've used the program you mentioned before (PAL2NTSCyfix) and the game regained its colors but lost part of it's image (which was perfect before).

My question is: Is there a way to -when changing to NTSC- ONLY "switch the colors on", without affecting the screen adjustment?
Please answer ^^ Thanks in advance

Yo. I ordered a copy of Way of the Samurai 2, a pretty rare title online only to find out that it is a PAL version and won't work on my Ps2. When I used DVD encryptor to take the ISO I recieved an ISO file called Samurai2, then whe nI used the Ps2 pal program a MDS file appeared next to that. Which should I burn to DVD with the encryptor?

Update. Neither one work. Burned both to DVD-Rs and the Ps2 still says "Please insert a Playstation or Playstation 2 format disc"
