hi everyone i had a orignal copy of marvel ultimate alliance but it was ntsc and i live in the pal region so i re-copyed it and pacthed it (like i said before) and the game worked ok it was in couler and every think was ok but the only problem was that the screen was a bit off centre so i left that and one of my cousins told me that if i buy a rgb scart cable the orignal game(what would normally be black and white) would play in couler, so today i went to this shop called game(i think its only in the U.K) and i brought a rgb scart cable for £14.99(the cable by its self would be about £5 but because this one had an audio attacher thing was when you could connect a audio device to it, plus a adaptor to connect a gun to it, it was £14.99) and the game played in couler so there is no point in patching a game if there is no couler because you can just buy a rgb cable and it will save you a lot of dvds from bhee
Anybody try and patch Singstar 80's? It worked for me. The PAL version boot up on my NTSC PS2 but during gameplay I had A/V sync issues. The video was going to fast for the audio. I think this is due to the framerate (NTSC is 30 and PAL is 25). Anybody else have this problem? Nick
i downloaded fight night round 3 and there was a black strip across the bottom of the screen. basically it had been moved up about an inch or 2. how can i fix this. i have the iso file but have accidently used a Y-fix program on it and now the whole screen is black... can i undo the y-fix or not? also can i actually fix it or not. i use swap-magic. it is an NTSC game and i have a PAL television and console.
You can just use Swap Magic to force the game into PAL mode. There's a video mode option that you can set to Normal, NTSC or PAL(what you need) mode. You need to center the screen in-game. If your game has no screen centering option, you're stuck with a screen cut off at the top.
okay i was fearing you would say that... the game has no screen centering option. but thanks for the advice
hi,,, i have dl WWE SMACKDOWN VS RAW 2007 (PAL) ... n when i have patched it to PAL TO NTSC... (my console is PAL) n (im living in NTSC region) , when i try to play it on ma console ... black screen appears n little light on bottom left corner,.. n it freezes over there n nothing happen to it.
I have this game, (PAL) and i have the 1.6 patcher. so i follow the guide here, and it should work on my PS2 (modded) that is all thankx EDIT: - I patched the game but i got a 2nd message saying Pal to NTSC : patched and furthermore a message saying Unable to patch Y pos Aborting. does it mean the file was patched and is playble on NTSC tv set? or did the patch fail.. EDIT : again... final this time - i burnt it and tried it..the game loaded well..but once you click any option in the main menu i.e Single player, or Multiplayer option..the game reverts to it's spinning up down screen and fails to play/load. message "please insert playstation2 format disc" - when New game is chosen. *sigh*
OK. To rip a dvd into a .iso file, use DVD Decrypter. It's a free program that you can download here: hxxp://fileforum.betanews.com/sendfile/1011845169/1/SetupDVDDecrypter_3.5.4.0.exe The very first post in this thread gives you a step by step instruction on how to create the .iso, patch the .iso, then burn the .iso. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_jump.cfm/121718/634352
I have the same issue with Smackdown 2007 gabroo, any help would be appreciated. I created a thread about just this problem in the PS2 games forum. The PAL unconverted image works fine, except for the obvious problem of not displaying properly on my NTSC set.
aha thankx... but in my previous post. I did do it. *see the edits* anywayz - end result.. the PAL patch didn't work properly ..if fixed the main menu only, starting a game results in the scrolling screen again...and then the disc fails to load as i mentioned. * yes i decrypted, patched and burnt* i'm curious as to how eleazarm got theirs to work providin we did roughly the same process i guess. well i was reccomended to use another patch program , and try. But I have yet to do it.
I have an Onimusha Blade warriors game which has the file SLUS_207.10 which means it's NTSC The problem is when I use codebreaker codes (Only works with PS2 NTSC games) The codes don't work so I tried to patch the game with ps2_pal2ntsc_yfix and it was successful but will the codes work when I burn the patched ISO ? Thanks in advance
i try to find in the forum or in the web this but don't find.. sorry if is double question --- ok i try to launch a ntsc to pal iso with HDADVANCE i made the conversion with both the used applications.... but this is what happen the HDADVANCE read the iso, i lauch it.. it starts... a couple of screen then black screen forever... i think the problem is in the dump to hd (i used hdl_dump from hdadvance website), when i need to write the STARTUP code... usually the program take it directly from the iso... but this time no... maybe is an iso problem dunno) (without this the install to hd doesn't start) however i try to write by myself.... i open isoburner and check the splm code... i try in every way slpm+number sces+number but doesn't work the game is winning eleven 10 help is appreciated take care ale
ok i reply to myself: the problem is not ntsc or pal.. the problem is in the game itself... there's a video after memory card file option... i find a way to skip it... just press alternatly X and ANALOGUE and after some times you'll go into the game i just notice a thing however: dipending on which NTSC TO PAL converter i use i see the game has different speed! if you use the NTSC TO PAL with the PLAYSTATION logo you have a really slow simulation of soccer if you use ADR Patcher the game has a perfect velocity... not to fast not to slow.. real simulation of soccer the ntsc original is however really fast as a simulation... and that's all.... bye all guys...
ok here's my thing.. i downloaded this flinstone small game to try out and it comes in cue and bin files and its pal.. my tv can handle all.. i burnt it normally and it worked but white and black.. so i did the conversion thing with the ps2 logo converter and it said it had converted it.. so i burnt it again with another disc and it later did not even show anything -.-;; please try and help me..
Add this game to the list: Ferrari F355 Challenge- After the "Now Loading" screen when the game is booted, select the 60hz option(middle, press right once).
