I have a rather odd problem. I dont know if it was addressed in this thread already, if it has, just give me a page number. I use hdl dumb to put games on my hard drive then use a hdloader elf to load them. I recently downloaded Madden 08 PAL. I use the patches yet it seems that the game screen is still too big for my tv screen. Any help?
For Resident Evil 4, do this: When it loads initially to the first screen you see (without any RE4 save) Press the buttons in this order: X, down, X Then down, and X. It will work fine.
Y-Fix patcher Game - Demon Chaos ELF File - Unknown PAL/NTSC Selector - No How to access Selector - N/A Y-Fix Patcher - Yes Offset - 48 ADR - N/A (Use Y-Fix Patcher) Screen Adjustment in game - No Y-Fix patcher Game - Hot Shots Tennis ELF File - Unknown PAL/NTSC Selector - No How to access Selector - N/A Y-Fix Patcher - Yes Offset - 16 (I used this offset, but it's still not centered, you will see a bit of black in the lower part..so probably the apropiate offset should be 8 or 0..but anyway, you can perfectly play with 16) ADR - N/A (Use Y-Fix Patcher) Screen Adjustment in game - No Y-Fix patcher Game - The Lord Of The Rings: Two Towers ELF File - Unknown PAL/NTSC Selector - No How to access Selector - N/A Y-Fix Patcher - Yes Offset - 48 ADR - N/A (Use Y-Fix Patcher) Screen Adjustment in game - No
Hello. I'm a noob in this topic, so I think it's better to ask again. If I have a multisystem TV do I need to do anything or PS2 will play any game the way it should be? I'm talking about NTSC PS2 + PAL game + multisystem TV. Do I need to do anything to play in color? Thanks a lot.
I was trying to patch One Piece: Grand Adventure (SLES_541.65) with PS2 Pal to NTSC patcher with Y-Fix and I set the Y-Offset to 64. After I burned the image and booted the disk I got a lot of green columns in the middle of the screen and the rest of the picture is also in more or less correctly colored columns. How do I fix it? Also, if I buy that signal converter, is the picture gonna be shown normally and Y-centered?
Hey there i just bought the Cricket 07 game for the ps2 (PAL format) i just wanted to know if i can crack it to work on my NTSC ps2 any help will be appreciated thanks Trip7
Limelight ... seriously i beg u, can u plz tell me exactly what you done with Final Fantasy 12 PAL .... then playing this same game on a NTSC PS2 with a NTSC TV .. seriously .... i tried ALLLLLLL !! And i think IT IMPOSSIBLE ....
hey guys, I have singstar 90 PAL converted into NTSC with the yfix patch. Works fine but the a/v is not in sync. Did i search here, saw a few ppl with the same problem but couldnt find a solution Is there anyone know how to fix this ? Im a newbie so pls some expl. too Thanks
If you can play the Singstar series in black and white keep reading, this is my solution playing PAL versions of Singstar in a NTSC ps2 , DON'T convert them to NTSC just load the Swap Magic disc in PS2, when it loads change in the menu the setting to PAL and the game will load with no prob perfectly in sync lyrics and game lines and video only thing is everything will be in black and white.
thanks for the reply Yr right,i can load the game in pal and yes it is b/w but the screen keeps rolling, thats the reason i fixed it with the yfix patch. It stops rolling and i have color, but like i said, its not in sync If there is any other solution,im open to give everything a try Thanks
I have Singstar Legends PAL having the same problem, but my other problem is that I dont have swap magic because I use HDL and read off the HDD is there anyway that you guys know about where you can play off the HD and stop the syncing problem ?
first of all my english isn't good, and i tried to patch yu gi oh tag force revolution using y-fix. it says pal to ntsc patch complete(or done) and 10 location found couldn't be patched and use latest version or connect author, what i'm gonna do
Im also having problems with that game though it should be compatible according to http://www.absoluteanime.com/hdloader.html Edit: Leave it unpatched and there is an option to choose NTSC/PAL when the game loads.
I am in the U.S. and wish to buy a legitimate Bollywood Singstar from the UK or India for my PS2 which I assume is NTSC (since it was bought here). My PS2 is not modded or anything. However, I do have a multi-system TV that we got from Saudi Arabia a few years back (a 29" sony Wega). (It has a foreign plug and needs an adaptor). So as long as my TV can handle the PAL signal, my PS2 can output the PAL game just fine? Or do I need to do something special to my PS2.
No, your PS2 needs a modchip or HD Loader. Even if the game is legit, the NTSC PS2 is not set to read PAL games and therefore it will see it as a non legit disc.
i have read this thread from start to finish and i have few questions if i burn an iso files on a disk and the disk dont work on my ps2 but i can see the files on my computer so i know there are there can i use the same image from off the dvd i burn to try to create another copy since i dont have the copies on my hard drive any more or will it still play the fool will i have to download the images agin since i dont have any other copy other then the one on the dvd that wont work also how can i get my computer to burn slower i put it on 1x but it still burns at like 8x or so i saw someone say my burner may not support 1x so what can i do to make it slower i am using dvd decrypter at 1x but the burning says 8x
