Playing PAL

    If I buy a commercial PAL DVD, will I be able to play it in my American DVD player if I rip it using DVDecrypter, setting the zone to 1, and then burn it to a DVD-R?

    Do regular DVD players handle PAL? Specifically, I have a GoVideo DVD/VCR combo.
