playing vhs on pc

    i have a geforce 5600 256 mb video card and i have a cord with one end that plugs into the s video port and a audio jack and the other that plugs into the vcr, when i plug it in i can hear the auto but i dont have any video playing, is that a program out there that let me see the video along with the auto or do i just have it set up wrong

    If I'm not mistaken that would be an OUTPUT s-video port instead of an INPUT. If so, then no you won't be able to. It's essentially a dual display card for allowing you to have two monitors to view an output from pc.
