I authored a movie from an mpeg and added menus and chapters. Authored fine with TMPGenc, burned fine with nero. Plays on my PC fine, menus work, video works, sound works. I put it in my standalone dvd player, about 2 years old and the menus work but the video or sound wont even load, it just stays at the menu screen and locks up until i hit eject or the menu button again and it just brings me back to the main menu screen. I tried it on a couple other dvd players but none were less than a year old and all did the same thing. I believe the video was mpeg1 352x240 29.97fps (4:3)NTSC,1150 kbps, and the audio was mpeg-1 audio layer-2 48000Hz Stereo, 224kbps. Ive played other dvdr's on it but those were from copies from other dvds and werent authored so i know its not a media issue. I live in North America so i know its not a region issue. Any help or ideas would be much appreciated since ive spent 2 days trying to figure it out but im completely stumped.
