    It will just get better from there.. Thats why I asked what type of hardware you had. Some NIC cards are faster than others..Same goes for hard drives..They all have a standard of transfering files at a sustained rate but will they actually do it? Glad to hear you got some more speed out of it.

    yea I agree with the responses, passive mode needs to be taken off. I use flash fxp like most, I use the direct route of a crossover cable and a built in ethernet on my asus mo/board, I get anywhere up to 8,000 k/s (average around 5,500 k/s)
    I have found too, though this is a fairly obvious statement, that cleaning the disc from the xbox d:/ helps

    The Xbox DVD drive is SOO slow.. Thats what bugs me the most..
