This board has been very helpful as I had no clue at all about what I needed to do to burn DVDs, thank you.

I think I get through the process correctly with the DVD Shrink and Decrypter but when I think I am finished all of my players say: "This player is incompatible with the region marking of this disk"

Please help me figure out what I am doing wrong.

What part of the world do you live? In other words What region is your DVD player and also what region is the DVD you are trying to burn? SHould be a little Globe on the back of your DVD case with a number. Same thing on the player. Those two numbers have to match. IN other words a region 6 movie won't play in a region 1 DVD player, for example.

To Get around this in DVD Shrink:

Click the Backup Tab, then click DVD Region tab. By default it should be set to "Region Free" if it is not, just click the box so it is. That should do it.
