Hey all.. I have an issue that I know has an easy answer but for some reason it's excaping me. I have a video file, here's the info on it; Type: AVI Movie File Size: 694.45 Image Size: 640x480 Pixel Depth: 24 Fram Rate: 23.98 Audio: 48000Hz - Compressed - Stereo Total Duration: 01:28:50:03 Average Data Rate: 133.41KB / second Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1.000 AVI File details: Contains 1 video track(s) and 1 audio track(s) Interleave: 1 : 0.58 Vide track 1: Size is 604.03M bytes (average frame = 5.49K bytes) There are 993 keyframes. 126823 delta frames. Fram rate is 23.98 fps Frame size is 640 x 480 Depth is 24 bits. Compressor. 'DX50'.DivX 6.8 Codec (2 Logical CPUs) Audio track 1: Size is 82.35 bytes Rate is 48000 samples/sec. stereo Sample size is 16 bits Compatible compressor: MPEG Layer-3 Codec Compression ratio is -14.-17:1 Aditional information: Nandub v1.0rc2 ---Here's the problem I burn the movie as is to a data disc DVD, nothing done to it during the burn proccess. In my first DVD player which is connected to a HDTV and connected by GRB Component cables is plays perfectly and is very clear. I my second DVD player which is connected to a standard tv through RWY cables it's horrid and coppy, the audio is perfect, but the video cann't be watched. Both players are the same make, both of them can read data discs and play Divx format, the second dvd player which is connected to the standard tv is a newer model. I have tried switching players with no results, i connected the second player to the tv with RGB component cables with no results. My final thought is only that the problem is with the second tv being a non HD standard. So what I want is either some suggestions from you fantastic folks on what I can do, or knowledge on how I can dumb down the formatting on the avi file so the second tv won't freak out. Thank Loves
I have version 8.. I have quite a bit of trouble viewing that site, it doesn't scroll very well, if at all.
Heres a very SIMPLE guide how I burn mine, works the same for Nero 8 http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_jump.cfm/356114/2104525
I tried everyway I have every software but it burns the movie 30days of night but it wont burn to disc so what do i do?
@shiloh72, You've been here long enough to know that it's NOT acceptable to hijack threads, your queerie has nothing to do with this thread. Suggest you commence your own as per forum rules.
Hijacking aside...there's a thread for this title already. It's in the Shrink forum, which a search would have revealed.
I've viewed over all your comments, and I want to thank you all for the assistance. I'll be checking out some of the things that have been suggested and will get back to you. Thanks oce again..
I've tried everything suggested so far.. ...it still appears that I need to change the video format or compression itself..I need help on how to do that.
I tried that, and the file size of the movie was too big to fit onto a DVD... so we're back to needing help changing the format of the file itself. Perhaps i'm in the wrong area for help with that, can someone tell me which forum would be best please.
you did something wrong settings wise then? as it shrinks your files to the size you set in options...
