Okay. I need help here. I don't exactly know what to google so I would like some experts here to give me some insight please. Okay what I want is a server that I can use that allows me to stream my MP3 files to about 10 at max people at a time and the Mp3 files be 56kbps Mono 3200hz. I don't know where to find this. Also, if anyone knows. My friends are under a state server and alot of sites are blocked I need a site they can access and listen to the music using the state server. I'm sorry if this is a difficult question but I have found very insightful people in this forum. Thanks in advance.
Honestly I've never heard of a free site that will act as a server and stream files for free. That might be hard to find. You can always make a free site at geovities, which gives you 25MB and you can have users DL the files from that
dont think youll find a website giving away bandwidth as such but there are companies that let you create your own free streams that may have some of their advertising after X amount of songs. found an interesting tutorial on setting one up. http://www.astreauxworld.com/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=73&Itemid=91 if youve got a decent broadband connection the easiest way would probably to use Winamp since it lets you create your own music radio\streams. http://www.shoutcast.com/ Winamp Radio slightly different is yahoos launchcast which will let you setup your favourite songs to broadcast but the songs have to be songs in the yahoo database. http://launch.yahoo.com/launchcast/setup.asp
