I feel that you should go with socket AM2 because that uses DDR2 RAM which is a lot cheaper than DDR RAM. I personally would also choose another motherboard preferably by ASUS or Gigabyte. Your motherboard only has 1 IDE port so you will not be able to hook up the 2 standard hard drives and the 2 dvd drives.
