Glad to see the code worked for you and I think that's the only way to enter a code is when the mobile is on.

 

no i mean the sim card was still in the mobile

no u dont have to remove the sim card

u can also enter pw+..... in the normal mode with your sim card. than the mobile says restriction off and turns of and on.
and the mobile is unlocked.
