Please help with HD install

    I have a xbox with a executer 2 and am trying to install a maxter 120GB HD. I picked up a copy of evox V2.6 from a bittorent site that seemed to run well with my original xbox HD(retail). I set my jumper on the 120HD to master, slapped it in and ran slayer evox V2.6, did a format and full rebuild, but when i reboot with the disk out all i get are the most basic functions on the dashboard...MS DASHBOARD/REBOOT/POWER OFF/SETTINGS/BACK UP..ive tryd installing many times but all the same thing..no functions..ie(xbox2dvd) or any sort of media player..can anyone help??

    Did you click on install all of the programs and not just 1 program?

    Hello,I amtyring to install a 40gb hd and my xbox only recognizes it as 2 or 4gb when i got to save a game to the hd.Is there something i'm doing wrong.someone please help
