I have downloaded a movie in the form of SVCD from the internet with the intentions of burning the movie to a DVD. I thought I was downloading an AVI file, but it turns out it's the SVCD. I'm not sure which guide to follow on this site to convert the SVCD movie file into something I can burn onto a DVD. I have seen many guides and posts on this site regarding variations of this matter, but I'm not sure which one applies to me. Do I just burn the SVCD file to the DVD as a data file? Is it already a mpg file?? When I run AVI Codec, this is the info it gives me... File: 755 MB (755 MB), duration: 0:47:01, type: MPG, 1 audio stream(s), quality: 80 % Video: 679 MB, 2021 Kbps, 29.970 fps, 352*240 (4:3), MPG1 = MPEG 1 (VCD), Supported Audio : 75 MB, 224 Kbps, 44100 Hz, 2 channels, 0x51 = Mpeg-1 audio Layer 2 [0xc0], Supported
You have a VCD. Check here: http://www.afterdawn.com/glossary/terms/vcd.cfm If you have Nero, just burn it as vcd.
