is there anyway to convert .sub divx subtitle files into regular subtitle formats that can be used by most subtitle players? not even subtitle workshop can open the file. this is a good sub file containing multilanguage, it works fine with divx subtitle displayer. tried to put sub in movie using dvd-lab pro, it takes the .sub file, however it doesn't work

I once had a problem with a sub file and I had to open it with Notepad, and then I created a new subtitle file with Subtitle Workshop and copy-pasted everything. A helluva job but it worked!

get VobSub and install it, in the folder where it in installed there is a .exe called Subresync. Open up the .sub in this little program and just save it as .srt or any other in the drop down list.

    hope this answers your question
