Please help

    I am a total newbie and totally confused with all this information. I have a viewsat vs pro and am trying to get the channels up and running. Could someone pls point me in the direction where I can find a step by step tutorial on how to get the proper settings and channels. I have currently downloaded the most current info to the receiver but I keep getting the channels locked with a $ sign beside them. I can not figure out what I am doing wrong.
