I have a dream box, i receive my internet through a cable provider, when i connected up my box to the to the router it never came on , i get free to air, the dream box is done fine because i tried it somewhere else and it worked, the only difference was that the internet in my house comes through a cable into the box provided by U=C, and in the other house it was a ethernet cable coming from the wall, any suggestions please. thanks in advance

A quick search tells me that a Dream Box is a satellite/cable receiver box and will require a signal input over a coaxial cable. The ethernet port on the box is probably for supplemental services to satellite such as on demand viewing.
