my dsl speed is 256kbps n wen i download a torrent frm bitcomet it downloads at a very slow speed ... how can i speed up my downloading speed n i wanna stop uploading my partials cuz it makes my comp restarts n affect my speed..so plz help me i read da guide here of bit comet but i dont think it helped me....
do you have a router? do you have an active firewall running? ( -if so, have you forwarded your ports?) when you say 'slow' speeds, how slow are we talking here. This isn't really the correct forum, but if you answer the above questions, i'll see what I can do.
well my normal download speed goes upto 23 to 26 kbps but in bitcomet its like 9 to 13kbps.. i have a firewall but i permitted it for BITCOMET n its ok .. i have dsl 256 kbps dats all i knw .. limewire n morpheus works good but y not torrent programs?
well ok i m fixed with dis bitcomet .. but i dont want to upload my partials n if i slow down my upload speed den da download speed even decreases.. i dont mind uploading my partials but wen i upload n it goes to a certain speed n a blue screen comes saying dat a bad error or somthin n i have to restart my comp.. dis only happens wen ny p2p program uploads nythin frm my comp..i dont knw how to fix dis n my limewire speed goes upto 25kbps..thx for ur help n plz let me knw how can i stop uploading my bitcomet partials..
