i istaled the action replay cd so i can pu sid 2 on the memory card when installed i hooked up the memory card to the usb then when i launched ar it said the usb device failed so i tried to put the exploit by using windows , and it said it had to format it so it did now when i lauch ar it still wont show the memory card i put all the softmod files on it already will this work in the xbox if i put the memory card in??????????????//
Thats strange, you are using a memory card windows should not format the card because its not a pc storage device. Stick it onto the xbox controler and let xbox format it for you. Then reconnect the card into the action replay memory card port. You should transfer the game save by using the software. If windows is detecting it as a portable storage media and its showing up in "My Computer" windows will want to format the card but dont allow it.
Get a newer version of the action replay software. Its usb drivers maybe outdated and that may be the reason why windows cant recognize it.
