POLL: What video encoder(s) is your favorite?
What encoder gives you the highest video quality?
What encoder is the fastest and easiest to use?
What encoder has the most/most useful options?
What encoder supports the most video types?

-Be as brief or as thorough as you like.

MOD: Move this thread to general video discussion if you wish.

I'm not asking what encoder I should use, This is a poll. Which encoder(s) do YOU prefer to use and why?

MainConcept is my favorite encoder because of the quality I get and because it's so easy to manipulate the letterboxing which I despise. The price is kind of high though the watermark in the trial didn't bother me too much. WinAvi is probably the fastest but ConvertXtoDVD is right behind and my preference of the two. Both are incredibly easy to use but I had burning issues with WinAvi, so to speak. Video types aren't really an issue with me but, again, ConvertXtoDVD seems to be adding support for more constantly. Now, I have heard many good things about the quality and speed of CCE but I was never able to test as it wouldn't open my XVID's which are 95% of my encodes and the trial only encodes 3 minutes, rather useless. TMPGEnc and Procoder are good but the time is twice that of MC and that's with no filters enabled in either and everything I need set in MC.
