    Hi,

I curious, are there a way to rip license protected DVDs? It has to be activated through online, once activated is there a way to rip the videos from the protected disc on to its own AVI perhaps and save it?

i'm not sure if its an interactive disc but i know its VIDEO dvds

any insight on this would be great!

    thanks

The question is a bit confusing as ALL commercial DVDs are protected. Can you please elaborate on what you are trying to do?

I want to order a product which comes in DVD discs, I also want to make backup and use it on different computer, the problem is that its protected which stated on their site "one user license per computer" so would i be able to make a copy of it? AND if can, can my friend run the DVD on his computer since the two of us are chipping in to buy it.

    thanks,

edit: i was also told that i would have to activate it online before using the DVD disc, that is why i'm afraid that it wont run on his computer which would be unfair to him.
