i have tried to burn 2 seperate movies on to dvd yesterday. both movies recorded one will only play on power dvd on my computer. when i try to play it in my dvd player it is in black & white, and the screen keeps scrolling. the other movie burned half way and stopped i tried about 8 or nine dvds with no luck. i have used dvd santa to convert and both dvd cloner and intervideo dvd to burn them. is it possible that i have a bad lot of dvds? if not any other suggestions? thank you in advance.

Could be bad disk's. but it sounds like you have PAL format videos you are trying to play on NTSC DVD players or vise versa...

First you need to find out if those really are in PAL. You can use AnyDVD for this.

By the way memorex is probably the worst media you could have used.
