    Hi,

Thanks for the quick response. What we have is a Chorus digital box with quite a basic package. All the usual channels plus setanta pack. Looking to get Sky Sports, Sky Movies, etc without having to change/upgrade subscription with Chorus.

    We're in the Leighlinbridge area.

Would it be worth my while getting a starview box?

    Thanks in advance

Know it well Related to half the village!!

Didnt know Chors was out there.
Tell me this, Do you have a direct line in from a 4 point external hub or have you got a square mesh receiver/dish on your rooftop??
i.e. terrestrial reception from a mast? I think there is one located in Borris so if so it would probably be pointing that direction...

let me know and I can advise then.

    small world alright.

We have an aerial/receiver on the rooftop connected directly into Chorus digital box inside.

    Thanks.

Thats your problem, The EV Max V won't work on MMDS.
you need to get your hands on a EV Max TX instead. Or Star view as you said but most opinion's seem to be that the EV is a better unit.

    Hi,

I am on Chorus MMDS in Cork. What should I get, i.e. Eurovox or starview? What is the best?

    Thanks

That above post is wrong. If its Chorus MMDS then the Eurovox Max V WILL NOT work. You need the Eurovox TX.

as vardrus said eurovox tx or the boxT for mmds and thebox t would be more handy for setup if its your first box

What model of eurovox and what firmware are you using? Are you sure you are in the cable in socket on the back of the box. I presume it was working before. How long is it out for?
