    http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i196/Cincrob/Alvin.jpg

nnow heres the bad about these.. they wernt DL disc i did but i put them on DL anyway no comperssion at all. kinda a waist but for test purpose well see....
the glossy kinda scaned backwards it looks like did the second layer 1st...looks bad but its playing right now the boys are watching it.

the print job is awsome looks like it was just bought from the store... gonna burn some more of these to see how my drive takes to them...

i did waist one trying to use nero speed to create disc. it didnt handle the layer break. so lost 1 of them..

Those Riteks don't look half bad for D01s.

What speed did you burn that RicohJPN D01 at? It looks nasty!

    cincyrob,
What did you burn the first 2 at and with which drive? Those look great and I need to try some of those out just for giggles. hehehe. I may just have some from the Prairie Claus. :D

    Keep 'em coming fellas!!!

cincy can you do a TRT scan on that last disc just for curiosities sake. I wish you had a NEC/Optiarc drive, they do quite well with that test.

With the Riteks, I usually got the high PIEs on the 2nd layer, though once in a while I'd get them on the 1st layer.

    Hey binkie7!

That is kinda ugly! It took my drives 4-5 discs each before they learned that media, some a lot worse than that one. :p But the burns got alot better!

    @cincyrob

I've found that if I get PIFs above 4, I'm going to have pixelation, above 10 and I'll have some freezing, much above that and the movie stops.

This is with scans on my lite-ons, I haven't done the extrapolation with the Benq.

That layer break looks like a killer to me cincyrob. :(

Can you play that disc through the layer brake or does it crap out?

I've gotten my best results with the newest drives I have, that is the Samsung 203b. My lite-ons, even with the updated f/w couldn't do as well as my sammy.

    For a dl, that's great!

That jitter spike at the beginning could be from scanning @ 6x. An average jitter of 8.55 is quite good, for me it would be great.

One way I look at totals is to cut them in half consider if it was a sl.

    Here's a MIS Verb 2.4x DL burned @ 4x with Nero 7, 4x Scan.

    Link

Got a funky jitter scan. Once it hit the layer break it sounded like the reading head was smacking against it's stop, like a hard drive with errors.

Going to try and see if it'll play.

Here's a couple of new 8x MBI DLs. Totals are on the high side but maxes are still in line.

    Both burned @ 4x on Samsung 203B, scanned @ 4x on Lite-On LH-20A1H

    First

    Second
