Good to know I have SOME good verbs LOL! This is from my Second batch. Haven't finished the first yet. In fact, I think I'll save the first batch for grade B movies Like I said before. Now I've convinced myself LOL!

For chuckles and grins I decided to play with FalconMedia DVD+R DL 8x.

My lite-on reports it can burn it @ 16x!

But I decided for the moment to try 12x.

    Here's the CreatDisc graph:

And amazingly it achieved a 90% on Disc Quality, here's the scan:

Jitter is disconcerning however the disc plays fine.

That's pretty good "burn" hobbit. :0 I'd like to see a 8x burn and see if the Jitter gets a little better. That's the ONLY thing in the scan that bothers me... lol.

    GM,
I think that's the first 0 I ever saw! I had a 23 once, but that was as low as I ever got.

    Sorry,
    Russ

No it's ok Russ... this was when I was trying to figure out on my own about the "quality" of media... lol. This burn is from 2004 and it's still playing but NOT that well. :)

Here's a freak scan! Some of the lowest jitter I've ever seen, and a 98 ta boot! Eh garmoon LOL! I once thought that this particular batch was less than A+ media. Since there were little tiny spots on the shields. But apparently I've burned most of them :D

By the way, this is NO valueline. This is a Silver Printable TY. Some of my best scans have been the Silver printables ;)

Mine is still in its infancy compared to the LH-20A1H. That sucker has seen obscene amounts of discs. There's a true lite-on LOL! That drive is what built my trust in lite-on ♥
The Sata Counterpart (LH-20A1S) has only seen a handful by comparison. Maybe 100 read/rips, and maybe 150-200 burns. The IDE counterpart has seen at least 5 times that :p

I wouldn't look too closely at these scans. I may be encountering problems either do to Power connections, or a very fragmented drive. I probably should have gone with a beefier PSU. That way I had more proper connections ;)

Please note, that the hub stamps could simply be some form of Date for their internal usage.

First, here's what is stamped on the top inner hubs.

And the scans which were burned at 12X on 7200S
