    NOT the MCC 004 we're used to but those aren't bad discs by any stretch!! :) I've been applauding the CMC MAG AM3 for some time now... you should try some of those buddy. :p

    and yes these do not have the AZO dye. that in itself is the reason the suck so bad.

    here is another one burnt on the IHAS324 a little better PIF's even PIE's cut in half.

    Pretty high jitter, otherwise they seem agreeable. Not the quality we've come to love from verbatim however :(
    The second I receive a CMC MAG disc from verbatim, is the second I switch exclusively to JVC/TY. But even their discs aren't perfect :( I hope TY sells BD discs down the road. They're about the only one I would trust...

    Maybe this is a nefarious conspiracy to get all the blank media being made by a few crappy manufacturers! LMAO I'm down to maybe 15 of the real Verb 004s and now have 100 of the CMC Verb types(will be givaways) Have around 200 JVC/TYs and 100 real TY T02s. I guess now I have more giveaways than saves with all the Office Branded Ritexs and TDKs now too. Yeah I'll be getting the TYs on line here on even if I have to pay more for the +Rs.

    Ha ha! Did somebody say Yuden T02 xD Here's one of my remaining genuine Yuden T02 discs. Didn't expect the nearly perfect score. Though in my book, it is perfect ;)

    Rob I guess we are thinking alike. Until my 7240S dies or starts writing bad blanks it'll stay where it is. And it's very easy to change-about a minute. It'll work along with the 20A1S and their way older brother-LG 2166D ext(which will read a tortilla.)

    that last scan i posted, we watched that movie last night. it was terrible. small pixelation, some hesitations through out. i do not recomend them life series disc.id say the main thing wrong with them is the DYE. these do not have the advanced AZO dye that the good verbs have.

    i dont think i can use these even for give aways...any one want some?

    time to goto georgetown college. going to see the bengals practice. and check out the newest WR they got TO

    Chass, Rob, Gary - nice to see you :) How are we all? Still keeping this place alive it seems!

    Sorry to hustle in, but..

    @Rob: http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-44/which_is_better-861622/#5219280

    Someone could use your opinion if you have 5 mins to check that out (I noticed you mentioned owning both of those drives)!

    Edit: If you do read that ^ then don't laugh - I do actually currently have a Pioneer 218L hooked up :-( Might have to dig out my old 112D at this rate! :D

    Hey K! All's well over here thanks - finished with school, Uni perhaps in September, or I might do something different for a year! Still undecided. How's your side of the pond?

    I have the 7240S-can't go wrong with that one!
